From Goldman Sachs, where he was once head gold trader, to ascending the media ranks to become one of the "Fast Money Five" on CNBC's Fast Money, Adami is the quintessential "Wall Street Warrior," as described by the New York Times.
Like some of the great color commentators of all-time, Adami provides audiences with the critical play-by-play of what's happening in the financial markets, whether that on Fast Money or other CNBC daytime shows where he frequently appears, including the Squawk Box.
A seasoned market veteran, Adami is currently managing director of Drakon Capital and an analyst with optionMONSTER, where he is one of the most popular speakers at the "Invest Like a Monster" conference series. He is also managing director of stockMONSTER.com, which delivers customized market analysis, portfolio strategy, and idea generation for active traders.
Adami has held high-level positions with some of the top financial companies in the world, including CIBC World Markets, AIG International Inc., Drexel Burnham Lambert, and Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 1996 as one of the many proprietary traders within the Fixed Income Currency and Commodity division. In 2012, Adami completed the first ever NYC Ironman challenge with a time of 16:19:52.
