read the restGeneral Renuart’s Air Force career culminated as Commander, NORAD and US Northern Command after nearly 39 years of distinguished service. In this position, he was responsible for providing for the Homeland Defense and Defense Support to Civilian Authorities for the United States and for partnering with Canada and Mexico in broader security issues for North America. He was also responsible for building the interagency cooperation necessary for DoD to support over 55 government partners and 53 States, Districts, and Territories.
Since retiring, General Renuart served as Vice President, National Security and now as a Consultant for BAE Systems, Inc, a top ten Defense Contractor. More recently, he founded The Renuart Group, LLC, a defense, homeland security, energy, project management, and leadership consulting firm, based in Colorado Springs.
General Renuart joined The El Pomar Foundation as a Trustee in 2012 and also serves both locally and nationally as a Member of the Board of Directors, Memorial Hospital, University of Colorado Health, as Member of the Board of Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the National Homeland Defense Foundation, and a Member of the Board, Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. He is also an Advisor to the CEO, Bryan Construction as well as Advisor to the CEO, Guardian Centers Training Sites. Finally, the General serves as a member of the Board of the Indiana Energy Systems Network (ESN).
