A proud Latina, Bianca is the daughter of Bolivian and Argentinian immigrants. Her multicultural upbringing shaped her entrepreneurial perspective and instilled a deep appreciation for family, community, and the power of building something from the ground up.
Before founding Birdies, Bianca spent her career in advertising sales, first at Univision and later at Facebook (now Meta). Her experience in sales and advertising provided a strong foundation for the customer-focused, data-driven approach she brought to Birdies.
Founded in 2015, Birdies was born from Bianca’s desire to create a shoe that combined the beauty of a sophisticated flat with the comfort of a slipper. What began as a solution for entertaining at home evolved into a lifestyle brand worn by women around the world – including the Duchess of Sussex!
Today, Bianca is recognized as a successful entrepreneur, brand builder, and advocate for women in business. She started the first Lean In Circle with Sheryl Sandberg (now over 100,000 Circles around the world) and served on the Board of Trustees at The Hamlin School, an all-girls independent school in San Francisco. Bianca currently serves as the Chair of her YPO Chapter and resides in San Francisco with her husband and two kids.
