He was on the launch team for Fandango.com, led product for Hotels.com, and led the digital marketing team for AT&T. His focus has always been on turning emerging technologies into useful products and practical business solutions, helping teams innovate, navigate change, and bring new ideas to market.
He has built and led multiple ventures, raised millions in venture capital, and helped bring several startups to successful exits. Along the way, he has partnered on projects with Mark Cuban, Snoop Dogg, Charles Hoskinson (cofounder of Ethereum and Cardano), Ingram Content Group (the world’s largest book distributor), and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments. His experience spans product development, fundraising, and strategic partnerships.
Today, much of Josh’s focus is on AI. Through Kosmos (https://installkosmos.com/), he is building ways for people and AI agents to work together, bringing different models into shared projects to coordinate tasks, exchange findings, and solve problems. He is also the founder of North Texas AI (https://ntxai.org/), connecting builders, entrepreneurs, and enterprise leaders advancing AI development and adoption across the region.
As founder and CEO of Stuff.io (https://stuff.io/) and Book.io (https://book.io/), he is changing how creators distribute digital media and how fans own it. The companies’ technology turns books, music, film, and other content into decentralized, encrypted assets, allowing creators to sell directly to their audiences with ownership recorded on-chain.
Josh is the author of several nonfiction works, including “Unscrewing Digital Media: Rebuilding Ownership from the File Up”. His work explores how Web3 technologies can restore digital ownership and establish verifiable provenance, helping creators and audiences defend against AI-generated counterfeits, impersonations, and manipulated media.
He is the inventor of Decentralized Encrypted Assets™ and a named inventor on three U.S. patent applications for “Systems and Methods for Providing Secure Access to Digital Assets”.
Josh speaks on AI, agentic workflows, entrepreneurship, blockchain, Web3, and emerging technology, with an emphasis on practical business applications. He has spoken at Music Tectonics, Rare Network, Digital Book World, and the London Book Fair, along with dozens of other industry events, and has served as a guest lecturer at The University of Texas at Dallas, Southern Methodist University, and New York University.
