She also shares her personal fight through breast cancer, substance abuse, and domestic violence as a speaker for women’s conferences.
As a business women who has undertaken projects such as The Faculty for ABC through her production company as well as three movies for television. Her biggest role is as an advocate of Women’s Healthcare. She has won awards from the National Breast Cancer Coalition and Planned Parenthood for her movie “My Breast,” the true story of journalist Joyce Wadler’s successful battle with breast cancer. She has also worked with the California Senate and Assembly on state legislative matters. By selling her line of skin care products, Meredith raises money for the Meredith Baxter Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
