He received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications and Public Relations (with a minor in theater) from Oklahoma State University. After college, he moved to Los Angeles where he currently works as a bartender while pursuing an acting career. He describes himself as funny, tough, competitive and sensitive. He says that both he and his dog, Presley, play hard and sleep hard. He is not a fan of dogs in clothing/costumes. As a Christian, Travis has traveled to Venezuela for the past two summers on mission trips. For fun, he enjoys golf and playing softball (fast and slow pitch). His motto is “Enjoy what you are doing.” Travis is currently single and lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is March 20, 1979. Travis currently travels back and forth from Oklahoma and Los Angeles.
Presley loves to play non-stop like most boxers. Before the show Presley could only sit, stay and back up. After being on the show he is now able toRollover, Crawl, Touch things w/paw & w/nose, Fetch, Speak inside/outside voices, Go around things, Under, Jump, Stand, Dance, Nudge, Shake left & right paw, High five, Play dead, Catch a Frisbee, Weave in/out of legs, Presley is currently 2 years old, and nearly 60lbs. He has a brindled coat, and on some days, it looks like he glows.
After winning CBS’ hit reality show, “Greatest American Dog” Travis and Presley hit the ground barking. They have been traveling across the country motivating and entertaining groups of all ages. Loyalty, trust, faith, friendship and courage are just a few topics that Travis and Presley cover during their keynotes. Their story is truly amazing and is sure to touch the hearts of many.
Travis has appeared in more than 15 national commercials and guest starred in popular television shows including Bones, Desperate Housewives, JAG, and Drop Dead Diva. Travis and Presley have been featured in “The Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan’s book, Top Dogs and Their Pets, as well as Victoria Stillwell’s website in conjunction with her show on Animal Planet, It’s Me or the Dog. Travis and Presley are perfect for school assemblies, corporations, educational conferences, and leadership conferences. They have motivated audiences as large as 12,000.
